NAMI Connection Facilitators are individuals living with mental illnesses and are at a point in recovery where they want to "give back" to others. They attend an intense training designed to help them develop the skills they need to facilitate a NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group. Applications can be found on the www.namiga.org website, along with the agenda and a short description of the course. Applicants must provide their own transportation and must submit their application through the NAMI-Savannah Office 912-353-7143. Georgia Advocates for Mental Health Meet In Washington D.C.
